Our success story in the construction trade began in 1948 with the first generation. Dragomir Stankovic laid the foundation when he successfully completed his apprenticeship as a mason in 1948. He then held a permanent position in the former Yugoslavia—now Serbia—and deepened his professional expertise, particularly in the areas of house construction, demolition, and earthwork.

In 1971, Dragomir Stankovic initially remained in Serbia, while the second generation moved to Germany to work as guest workers on major projects there.

In 1979, the second generation took over the reins and ushered in a new era. With the founding of our first company, we established ourselves as a construction services provider in the industry.

In 2003, the third generation strategically expanded the company’s service portfolio to include building cleaning. At the same time, targeted continuing education laid the foundation for highly specialized damage analyses and comprehensive solutions.

Another significant step in our company’s development took place in 2015, when we began specializing in hazardous substance remediation. In the process, we acquired comprehensive knowledge of substances relevant to remediation, such as asbestos, man-made mineral fibers (MMF), and other contaminated sites.

In 2016, we further expanded our areas of expertise and took our first steps into interior finishing. Our services include painting, flooring, and drywall installation.

The founding of the fourth generation of EVIA Service GmbH in 2020 marked another milestone. As part of this process, our company’s core areas of focus were consolidated into a single entity.
